WRIST tournament

On Wednesday 17th September St Mary Magdalen's had the pleasure of hosting the first WRIST chess tournament. The year 6 boys organised Mrs Gallagher with rules, certificates and Powerpoint. We were joined by eight players from five other schools: Penwortham Primary, St Teresa's, Longton Primary, New Longton and Little Hoole. All of the players were courteous and demonstrated good sportsmanship. Congratulations to Longton our first WRIST winners!
