Throughout the week, the teachers and children have been learning about the events of Holy Week using a few simple props in a tiny cardboard box.
The children have been able to retell the events using miniature palm leaves, gold coins, a table cloth, a pipe cleaner cross and a tiny piece of cloth. The box has been a donkey, a stall in the temple, a table for the Last Supper, a road, a sealed tomb and an open tomb. They have listened to or read readings from The Bible and shown a growing understanding of why Holy Week is Holy.
