On Friday, we enjoyed a super session learning ball control and racket skills with Dave. Please see our class pages for more 'action' photos.
Everyone in Year 3 showed focus, co-ordination and determination. Dave expertly took us through the stages of learning the names for the parts of the tennis racket; how to get in the 'READY' position; how to control the ball in a throw, bounce and catch; how to move around but show awareness of others; how to balance the ball and keep control of the ball with the racket and how to keep focussed. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children and everyone improved during the course of the lesson. Thank you Mrs Edmondson for arranging this.
