We have gathered lots of examples of the types of materials that our boxes could be made from.
We have collected adjectives to describe these materials - 'cold stone, shimmery jewels, polished oak' and we have thought carefully about how the boxes might be made.
Using whiteboards, we then went around the room selecting ideas from our creative word banks to describe our boxes. The descriptions are very magical! Please see our class pages for more photos.
