This week, Year 5 hosted a Fairtrade stall selling products that were sourced from ethical producers. We sold over £100 worth of goods, but the cookies and chocolate were definitely the best sellers!
Our Lenten treasure hunt scratch card games were also hugely popular and raised over £70 for a Fairtrade charity – A massive thank you to all who took part and supported such a worthy cause!
The busy week was rounded off with a quiz-tastic showcase assembly – the children became the teachers and taught their adults about space, maths and the ancient Maya civilisation. The adults then proved they were paying attention by answering a quiz using our new QR code answer cards.
