We have been learning about Alfred Wainwright and the Wainwright fells.
We have looked at the 7 books Wainwright wrote and how they were split up based on their compass points.
All of the Year 2 children know how many Wainwrights there are, how many lakes are in the Lake District and all about Haystacks. Make sure you ask them all about it.
Some of us have even been reading one of Wainwright’s books.
