In our science lessons we have been looking at materials, objects made from different materials, and the properties of materials. We have learnt words such as transparent, waterproof and absorbent. Today we took part in an experiment to test different materials to see which would be the best to fix an umbrella. The children had lots of fun with the water and pipettes, observing what happened to the materials as water was added.
