Things have been going down in year 5 this week – we’ve been studying gravity in Science!
We tried not to get weighed down by the hot weather so Year 5 have been trying to get back down to earth with a bump and consider the difference between an object’s mass and its weight.
The class enjoyed getting the low-down about Isaac Newton and his theory which was famously prompted by a falling apple. The children also used Force Meters to compare different items from around the classroom and record their results in a table.
