In Year 1 on a Friday we have been studying how to make a picture move with a slider mechanism. We have made characters from the Gingerbread Man story move, we have read a poem and decided how we could make some of the words move, and lastly the class were given the freedom to make their own moving picture. We had mermaids under the sea, footballers running across the pitch, Mrs Hibbert made a star rise to the top of a Christmas tree, and one of our class drew Mrs Williams at her computer and then made a slider to make themselves move towards her. Absolutely wonderful work from Year 1!
