St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School

Year 4 represented our school at the Good Shepherd Mass at the cathedral with Archbishop Malcolm. The children learned all about the cathedral and we have put together a book so that the other children can learn about the chief church of our archdiocese. After lunch the children met the archbishop and presented our cheque for £478.88 to Woollie the Sheep, the Good Shepherd fund mascot. The money is the total we raised in Lent from our Lenten Games and Easter Egg Raffle. We were very proud to hand over such a magnificent total. The theme of the Good Shepherd mass was Family and were able to give our new banner its first outing.
