This afternoon, the Year 3 children (as part of their Mini Vinnies commitment) led reflections and prayers for the whole school.
Each class designed two stations using a variety of media - 3D printing, LED lights, handprints, digital art, paper skills, card diorama to name a few. These were then set up in a darkened hall with tea lights and candles for all the children (in small groups) to journey with Jesus and His cross. A cross of sacrifice, a cross of love.
Each child was given a tiny prayer cross to hold as they listened to the sequence of events on Good Friday and a tiny love heart at the end to remind us of Jesus’ unending love.
Thank you to the classes for developing the different station, thank you for showing such respect, and thank you to the Year 3 children for leading the whole afternoon.
