The children were over the moon with this lesson!
This week, the children had a fantastic time in our science lesson learning about the phases of the moon.
Using Oreo cookies, they carefully recreated a chart showing the eight main phases, scraping away the filling to represent how the moon appears in the night sky. This fun and hands-on activity helped them to visualise and understand the lunar cycle in a memorable way.
Of course, the best part was getting to eat the cookies afterwards—a delicious end to a great lesson!
