St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School

The children in Year 5 made us all very proud last night performing at the Guild Hall at the WRIST Celebration of Friendship. The children had all the audience clapping along to their dance medley of Mary Poppins songs. At the end they joined thirteen other local schools to sing the finale song, Africa. Thank you to Louise for her inspiration, drive and choreography, to Miss Brooker and Mrs Clemo for perfecting the dance and to Mrs Atkinson for leading all the schools in the finale. The celebration is an annual event and every Year 5 child gets the opportunity to perform on the Guild Hall stage. They always overcome nerves and perform out of their skins.
