What is sacrifice?
Thank you to Year 5 who stunned us all with their class assembly about Sacrifice. They focussed on what sacrifice is and what sacrifices they make in their lives; they had some great examples of selflessness. They then made us of think of the sacrifices that Mary made in order for her son to fulfil God's plan. The children told the story the death of Jesus from his mother's viewpoint. The whole school was moved by the way the children acted out the last hours of Jesus. Thank you to Miss Brooker and her team and the children for helping us to start to prepare for Holy Week.
