We have been growing plants in different conditions to see which they prefer.

The beans with no soil but did have water didn't grow at all. The beans that had water, soil but no light grew long, tall, floppy, white stems with yellow leaves. This plant thought it was still underground and was trying to find light. The beans with soil but no water did not grow at all. The best plants grew with soil, water and light. These grew quite tall, with strong, straight stems and dark green big leaves.
