St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School

Year 5 treated us to a wonderful reflection on their residential at Castlerigg. Parents, Father Roy, staff and pupils were all wowed by how much the children had gained from the experience. They shared poetry, prayers, art work and a very moving dance which all demonstrated how each and everyone of the children had taken shining their light to heart. The whole assembly was written and prepared by the children with a little bit of help from Miss Brooker and Mrs Henry. We are incredibly grateful to the St Vincent de Paul Society for funding the majority of the cost of this trip. And we are all incredibly proud of the maturity, the creativity and the self reflection of this class.
