Letter from the Education Minister
We were delighted to receive this letter today from the Education Minister, Damian Hinds. It is a relief to know that the Education Secretary understands the data better than the newspapers do. We are extremely proud of our results and know that this is testament to quality teaching in every year group, to the hard work of pupils and the support of parents.
You may be interested to know that I have written a detailed article for the Lancashire Post called In my View. The article is a response to the daft article about league tables which was as ill-informed as it was damaging to some schools. I would appreciate you sharing it on social media in order to limit the damage to schools like Kingsfold and St Aidan's, both in our cluster of schools. It will be published on Saturday. Thank you.
