Our Y4 Mini Tennis teams do us all proud at today's tournament.
A big well done to our Year 4 Mini Tennis ‘A’ & ‘B’ teams who represented the school at today’s South Ribble Mini Tennis Competition. Both teams romped through the group stages topping their respective groups with 100% records. Almost predictably, they were drawn to play each other in the semi-finals (at least it guaranteed a final slot). After a hard-fought but incredibly honourable head-to-head, the ‘A’ team progressed through to the final against St Leonard’s. Despite winning two matches each, the team finished as runners-up by just two points (calculated across an aggregate of the four matches). All eight children were an absolute delight, represented the school with a smile and delivered some top-class tennis along the way. Thank you to Phil for getting them ready for the tournament, he will be proud of your achievements - we all are.
