Year 4 have been busy this half term sewing....
The children have made purses as part of our DT this half term. They have observed real purses / wallets to help with their designs, made prototypes and learnt about the different materials used. During the sewing they have had to use running stitches, over stitches and even sew a button on. They will bring them home tonight, so don't forget to ask them how they made it.
