Our school football team finish as runners-up.
Congratulations to our school football team who finished runners-up in the Penwortham schools football competition. After a hat-trick of victories in tonight’s fixtures, the team discovered that they had finished in silver medal position just one point behind this year’s champions, PCP ‘A’ team. Well done to all the team, including those absent from today’s squad - you have played some fabulous football over the last three weeks and can be proud of your achievement. May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Phil, our brilliant sports coach (we are so lucky to have him as part of our staff) for coaching the team throughout the year and to all the parents who helped with lifts and supported the boys. Well done to all involved.
