Last Thursday the children in Year 3 had a visit from a member of the Lancashire County Council Travel Team who led a two hour safety course for all the children.
The training involved learning how to:
carry out and efficient 'L'check of their scooter,
scoot in a straight line and around obstacles,
share space with pedestrians,
and how to look around and behind whilst maintaining control of the scooter.
All the children participated fully in the Q and A and the practical scooting. Well done Year 3!
