    The children had a lovely time this morning contemplating their faith, followed by a fantastic walk to Derwent water.

    We saw the old workhouse and where the train and tram bridges used to be. We saw different styles of houses and date stones. People used to pay a penny to catch a boat across the River. Penwortham Holme used to be a horse racing track surrounded by water.

    So.much work was done over the weekend, the garden is now looking great, the children finished putting fence up and diggingnour the benches which we are moving.

    Father Roy is our class Governor and he came to visit the children in class on Thursday.

    Our story sack this week was the three little pigs, we had great fun huffing and puffing, we make a large chalk picture together of our pigs’ houses.

    Thank you to everyone who kindly sent cakes into school this morning for our annual MacMillan Coffee Morning (but in the afternoon...) and thanks to everyone who managed to come along and support this wonderful charity.
